In the first game this afternoon of April 14, between Kyrgyzstan and Malaysia it was obvious right from the start that the two teams were going to play hardball. Although Malaysia put up a tough fight in the first set, they were finally beaten by Kyrgyzstan at 24-26 points. The following sets were more long winding but Malaysia had to give the game to Kyrgyzstan with 0-3. Congratulations to the Kyrgyzstan team to make it to the finals tomorrow. (24-26, 21-25, 22-25)
As almost everyone had expected, the last game between Mongolia and Hong Kong was quite easy for Mongolia. Hong Kong did not give the game up for free but Mongolia won again with 0-3. Congratulations to the Mongolian team for proving to be the best performers in the Championship although there is still one more game to go. (25-15, 25-21, 25-18)
On the final day tomorrow, April 15, we will see Hong Kong and Kyrgyzstan fight for the 3rd and 4th place while Thailand and Mongolia will take up the grand challenge for the 1st and 2nd place.
So far, Mongolia has won every single game of the championship and the expectations are very high, but will they keep up their strength tomorrow as well?
Today number of spectators is more than before days. Tomorrow closing ceremony will be held at 18:00 pm in Buyant-Ukhaa sports palace so competition hall will be full as Mongolian rooters stated by Organizing Committee. Students of Mongolian university, institute and colleges are seeing actively the competition every day.
